I recently visited Naples & Marco Island in Florida. I was there for a long weekend to check out the Naples wedding venues. I was amazed at how much variety Naples offered.
I arrived at the Bayfront Inn 5th Ave and was greeted by my host Michelle from Florida's Paradise Coast. Michelle represents the Naples-Marco Island -Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau. She knew exactly what venues to show me.
We immediately departed for The Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort. There we were greeted by Lydia Redmond. The Ritz offers 3 ceremony venues and 2 ballrooms, both accommodate up to 500 guests. Additionally, they offer 8 other beautiful reception venues. You may choose from many exclusive wedding packages and customize your day to your taste.
The Ritz invited us to have lunch at Terrazza. There we enjoyed a delicious meal with exceptional service.
Our next stop was La Playa Beach & Golf Resort. The blue, green and white decor that greets you from the entrance is soothing. This resort offers you several affordable pre & post event party packages. La Playa also offers several ceremony location options and packages for your guests. You may choose to lounge in the adult only pool or go for a bike ride.
On to the Naples Grande Beach Resort to meet Tina Santana. Their white sand beach immediately distracted me with its purity. The beach wedding can host up to 250 guests. There is also a sunset veranda and 3 uniquely decorated ballrooms. The Naples Grand Golf Club is also available for your big day. You may choose from several packages for your wedding ceremony and reception. The Naples Grande also offers your guests the option to book one of their 50 Villas on property.
Our day comes to an end by returning to the beautiful Bayfront Inn 5th Ave where Nivea Amodovar met us. Nivea introduced us this lovely boutique hotel overlooking the waterfront.
The Bayfront is also happy to host your wedding and other celebrations. Their terrace overlooks the bay and at sunset offers a breathtaking view for photos.
We savored an appetizing dinner in Bambu Tropical Bar & Grille. During our time in the restaurant we entertained by a live band. The hospitality at this resort was endless, they could not do enough for their guests.
After a good night's rest, we met Michelle for breakfast at 1500 South. Dawn Dabroka from Naples Bay Resort joined us here.
I was particularly impressed with the Mediterranean Decor of this waterfront restaurant. You can dine ala carte or select your breakfast from the buffet. Both offered healthy and fresh ingredients with a southern flair.
After breakfast Dawn took us on a tour of The Naples Bay Resort. When you select a wedding package this resort gifts you a one-bedroom suite with a marina view. The resort is LGBT Friendly and welcomes your pets too. The Naples Bay Resort has a new state of the art gym that you can work out in before relaxing in their lazy river. The Naples Bay Resort has 46 cottages available on property.
Off to the Collier County Museum where Ryan Davis came in to give us a tour of this historic museum property. We viewed forts, cannons, Chickee & Tiki Huts. Indoors the museum can accommodate 75 or less. If you are the adventurous one and want a frontier themed wedding or event options are endless here.
On to the Venue Naples is an amazing gallery that much like the art in the gallery, is a blank pallet. You are free to design any wedding or event you can dream of that can accommodate up to 800 people. The chef Brian Roland was featured on CNBC's Restaurant Startup. His catering service is used by many of the local wedding venues.
Next, we went to NGALA. I thought I was on an African Safari. NGALA is an extraordinary Wildlife Preserve. At NGALA you encounter wildlife and authentic entertainment. You will dine under luxurious canvas tents with food catered by Chef Brian Roland. Your guests won't forget Sultan the Camel, their White Rhinoceros, the African Spotted Leopard or their endangered Florida Panther. My personal favorite was Coulter their lovable giraffe. Hosting your safari themed wedding here will be an experience of a lifetime for most of your guests.
Later that evening we enjoyed dinner and a cruise aboard the Naples Princess. We dined on prime rib, Mahi-Mahi and all the trimmings. While enjoying the spectacular homes and natural beauty of Naples Bay and Port Royal. The luxurious Naples Princess is ideal for all events relating to your wedding in Naples.
After that grand meal last night, we were eager to get bikes from Bayfront Rentals. We road a few blocks the 5th Ave shopping area where there was a street art show that day.
We topped off our spectacular Naples visit with a trip to Marco Island. There we met Pam Dorr and toured the elite Marco Island Yacht Club. Where you can plan your nautical wedding and reception inside or on one of their beautiful decks. They also offer an over the water gazebo. There we enjoyed their Sunday brunch.
Our final stop was the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort situated on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. This resort offers the perfect balance of luxury and tranquility. Their intimate beach with its white sand is perfect for your barefoot wedding. Their expert catering team will design a wedding menu that reflects your personality. The Calusa Grand Ballroom, with its 24-foot ceiling make for the perfect reception.
Thank you to all my hosts!
A special thank you to the Bayfront Inn 5th Avenue for their endless hospitality and Michelle Pirre with Florida's Paradise Coast CVB for the perfectly planned tour of Naples and Marco Island.
